Doc B, the Academy's AI, reads every message in a room before the others see it. Room messages are kept for 30 days. When a member presses the red button, the house sets aside a protected copy of that conversation for one year, and everyone in the room sees a sign that it is being kept. The copy belongs to the member who pressed the button.
